The University of Virginia School of Law seeks to hire an Assistant Dean for Public Service and Director of the Mortimer Caplin Public Service Center (PSC), to start in the fall of 2022. The Assistant Dean for Public Service leads the Law School’s efforts to create an integrated program of career advising and development to students who are pursuing public service internships, externships, and/or postgraduate careers. As director of the PSC, the Assistant Dean provides strategic direction for, and day-to-day management of, the work performed by the PSC’s attorney directors and administrative assistant director.
