Legal Aid Society of Rockland County, Inc. (LASRC) seeks two attorneys for its office in New City, New York. One position, in LASRC’s Children’s Rights Division, is to represent children in family court as an Attorney for the Child (AFC) in matters including custody, child abuse/neglect and juvenile delinquency. The other position, for a Senior Attorney in LASRC’s Civil Division, is to supervise legal work, to assume some administrative duties and to represent clients in the traditional substantive areas of poverty law. The Senior Attorney position is for one year, with excellent chance of the position becoming permanent. Qualifications.  All applicants must have: Excellent analytical and writing skills.
