The Dodge County Attorney’s Office, a six attorney prosecutor’s office located in Fremont, NE, is currently hiring a full-time deputy county attorney for the prosecution of felony criminal cases and possible civil work.  This position requires extensive experience in criminal law from either side.  Responsibilities vary but will include reviewing offenses and evidence to make determinations of the filing of criminal charges, and fully handling the prosecution of these charges.  Salary is competitive and negotiable.   Health insurance is included at no cost to an individual employee and is also available at a discounted rate for spouse and/or dependents.  Dental and vision coverages are available along with generous holiday/vacation/sick leave, free parking, and retirement benefits in the Nebraska County Employees Retirement System.   Due to our easily accessible location, our office does not require deputies to establish residency within Dodge County.
